Three acclaimed projects have been selected for Proyecta, the co-production platform at Ventana Sur 2025 in Buenos Aires: Ana Elena Tejera’s “Culebra Cut,” Theo Montoya’s “False Positive,” and Roxana Stroe’s “Houses Are Silent.” Now in its eighth edition, Proyecta expands opportunities for international co-productions, connecting talent from Latin America with global partners. The program is a joint initiative of Ventana Sur, the Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film, and the San Sebastián International Film Festival, underscoring its role in nurturing cross-border cinema. Ventana Sur 2025 runs in early December in Buenos Aires, offering a curated slate designed to advance emerging directors and their projects on the world stage. The selected titles highlight contemporary storytelling and bold directorial voices across genres.
