The Marrakech International Film Festival is set to honor four cinema luminaries—Jodie Foster, Guillermo del Toro, Raouya, and Hussein Fahmi—during its 22nd edition, running from November 28 to December 6. U.S. actress and director Jodie Foster will be on hand to introduce her new film Vie Privée (A Private Life), directed by Rebecca Zlotowski. Celebrated Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro will receive a special tribute for his enduring impact on contemporary cinema. Moroccan actress Raouya will be celebrated for her contributions to Moroccan film, while Egyptian actor, director, and producer Hussein Fahmi will also be honored at the festival. These tributes underscore Marrakech's commitment to recognizing international talent and promoting cross-cultural storytelling. Attendees can look forward to red carpet moments, film premieres, and exclusive presentations as the festival showcases global cinema during its 22nd edition.
