BFI Distribution has secured the U.K.-Ireland theatrical rights to Ish, the debut feature from writer-director Imran Perretta. The film premiered at Venice Critics’ Week earlier this year, where it won the Audience Award, and later competed for the Sutherland Award at the BFI London Film Festival. Dhiraj Mahey received the Breakthrough Producer prize for Ish at the British Independent Film Awards.
